We own the plant and the laboratory in Guangzhou, and we only make leave-on liquids —
serums, ampoules and facial oils — for brands that sell them under their own name. You
deal with the people who mix, fill and test your batch.
We began as a general cosmetics filler: creams, lotions, cleansers, whatever a customer
ordered. The complaint we kept hearing from overseas buyers was always the same — the
supplier could make everything and none of it especially well. Oxidation, separation and
viscosity drift are serum problems, and they are solved with serum-specific equipment
and serum-specific people.
So we narrowed the line. Today every filling head, every stability chamber and every
chemist here works on leave-on liquids. It is a smaller business than a general
contractor and a far more predictable one, which is exactly what we sell.
Our own plant — 12,000 m² in Guangzhou, leased and operated by us, never sub-contracted out
Our own laboratory — 14 chemists and an on-site QC lab, which is why sampling is measured in days
Serums only — no creams, no cleansers, no shampoo competing for the filling line
Brands, not consumers — we have never sold a single unit under a VITALUME label
Secondary packaging hall — cartoning, coding and tamper banding
Straight about the scope
What you get, and what you will not get
Most sourcing problems start with a supplier who is vague about which part of the job
they actually do. Here is our part, in plain terms.
You get
One site for the whole chain
Formulation, stability and compatibility testing, filling, secondary packaging, QC release and export documentation all happen under one ISO 22716 system. If something is late or out of spec there is one party to call and one batch record to open — not a chain of suppliers pointing at each other.
You get
A named team you keep after launch
One formulator, one project manager and one regulatory contact from the first brief to the last container. Their names and direct contacts go into your project file, and the same people stay on the account for your reorder.
You will not get
A stock formula with your logo on it
We do keep a formula library, but it is a starting point rather than the product. Every launch is adjusted for your actives, texture, claims, price point and target market, then re-tested before it reaches a filling line.
You will not get
Your formula sold to your competitor
A formula developed for you is exclusive to you and documented as yours in the contract. We will not quote the same specification to another brand, and we put that in writing before you share anything sensitive.
Milestones
How the plant grew
Each of these added capacity or a capability a customer had asked for — none of them were vanity projects.
2008
Filling hall one
Founded in Guangzhou with two 500 kg vacuum emulsifiers, filling creams and lotions for local skincare brands.
2013
First export order
A UK brand asked for a complete dossier rather than a COA. We built a regulatory function rather than outsourcing the answer.
2016
The line was narrowed
Decision to specialize: leave-on liquids only. The cream and cleanser lines were retired and the equipment was replaced with serum-rated fillers.
2019
In-house R&D and pilot reactors
Formulation moved on site with three pilot-scale reactors, so a sample no longer had to wait for a 500 kg production batch.
2022
The current plant
12,000 m² with a Class 100,000 cleanroom, nitrogen blanket filling and 36 filling and capping lines.
2025
North America desk
MoCRA-aligned facility registration and a dedicated compliance contact for US and Canadian brands.
Milestones are demo copy. Replace the years and events with your own company history before
launch — the section is six plain cards, so deleting one row or adding a seventh takes a minute.
Working with brands
Five things we put in writing before we start
A serum project fails on assumptions far more often than on chemistry. These five points
are settled on paper at the beginning, so nobody is renegotiating them in month three.
NDA first — signed before you describe your formula, not after we quote
Formula ownership — named in the contract, including what happens if we ever part ways
A frozen specification — actives, texture, pH, viscosity and packaging agreed before sampling ends
Exclusivity — we will not quote your specification to another brand
Documents list — the exact dossiers for your market, agreed up front so nothing is ordered after production
Texture and rheology profiling on the formulation bench
Who you actually talk to
Five roles on every project
The chemists sit in the same open lab as the QC benches. The person who formulates your serum can walk twenty meters to see how it behaved in the stability chamber.
Role
What they own
When you meet them
Formulator
The formula, the revision rounds and the stability data behind it
Brief call, then every sample round
Project manager
Timeline, packaging sourcing, artwork checks and shipping documents
Within one business day of your brief
QC lead
Batch records, certificates of analysis and out-of-spec investigations
Sample approval and every production run
Regulatory specialist
EU, UK, US and ASEAN dossiers, responsible-person and MoCRA coordination
Before the first label is finalized
Account contact
Quotes, sample shipments and anything commercial
Your first email, and every reorder
Team structure is illustrative. Adjust the roles to match your own organization, or turn the
table into a plain staff list.
Before you send a brief
Are we the right factory for this project?
Half an hour of honesty now saves a sampling budget later. This is where we usually fit, and where we usually do not.
A good fit if you are…
Launching or reformulating a leave-on serum, ampoule or facial oil; running 1,000 to 50,000 pcs per SKU per order; selling under your own brand and needing the formula and the paperwork to belong to you; or simply tired of a supplier who answers price questions in a day and document questions in a month.
Probably not a fit if you need…
200 pcs for a market test; a cream, a cleanser and an SPF in the same purchase order; someone to design the brand rather than the product; or the lowest possible unit price on an unchanged stock formula with no testing attached. Tell us anyway — we will point you at the sort of supplier who does that well.
